The journey begins!

Our team of Consultants are assisting Hugh and his team from Integral Surveys in the process of achieving certification to ISO-9001 and accreditation to AEO.

Both of these tasks are onerous in themselves. However, the commitment and drive from both Integral Surveys and Compliance Council is enabling to undertake these tasks concurrently.

Hugh’s initial enquiry to Compliance Council was relating to accreditation to AEO status for TfNSW. With the recent announcements and the increased investment in infrastructure here in NSW, this step was a natural progression for a company already heavily involved in and providing surveying services to the construction and mining industries in NSW and across Australia. Having AEO status is critical for companies to be able to demonstrate their ability and experience in this critical market segment.

Led by our Principal Consultant for AEO, Phil O’Grady, our team attends client’s offices and sites to develop a specific management system documentation to be deployed on AEO projects whilst interfacing with TfNSW existing rail infrastructure. Part of this requirement is for the applicant to demonstrate engineering management processes and methodologies appropriate to its engineering services and suitably aligned with ISO 9001.

The process that Compliance Council undertakes includes:

Phase 1. Initial Discovery Session and Workshop

Phase 2. ISO 9001 Requirements

Phase 3. AEO Mandatory Activities

Our Consultants will assist and attend the third party ISO certification audits, as well as the ASA Submission meetings.
