Here is what is happening on our end!

Welcome Stas:

Following on from our last month's announcement of having conducted the final rounds of interviews of InfoSec Principal Consultants, this month we are very glad to announce that Stas Maltezos has joined us as the Principal Consultant for Information Security.

Stas is a seasoned Cyber Security professional, who has extensive experience as an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.

Prior to this, Stas has worked in the MedTech sector, and the Maritime industry.
In Maritime, Stas used to work as a junior ship broker in Greece.

Stas's love for InfoSec started at the age of 7, when he created his first malware, and from there, his passion only grew.
He looks up to his mother for inspiration, who is one of the first female graduate software engineers in Greece.

Passionate for all things Information Security, Stas loves reading, researching, testing new tools of cyber security and testing ways of identifying vulnerabilities.

In addition to Compliance Council's standard suite of consulting services for ISO 27001, we are proud to announce that we now have more capabilities to offer with Stas on board. Adding to our current suite of capabilities for InfoSec will be Penetration Testing, watch this space for more details, or contact us directly if you require this assistance immediately.

We are confident our clients will benefit greatly from his experience and expertise!

Welcome Stas to the Compliance Council's growing team!

IWD 2021:

Compliance Council women, Dolly Tanna and Nathania Hanna attended the International Women's Day event hosted by Future Women at Art Gallery of New South Wales on the 8th of March.

It was a powerful and provocative discussion on seeking justice for women, led by Future Women's Chief Creative Officer and author, Jamila Rizvi with Walkley-award winning journalist Louise Milligan, writer and musician Nardi Simpson and youth activist Daisy Jeffrey.

These extraordinary women shared their thoughts on gender politics, intersectional feminism and the rights of women to live free of violence.

Compliance Council's Monthly team meeting:

Every month, all Compliance Council team members gather for a monthly strategy meeting wherein we discuss the month that was, projects in the pipeline, the way forward, new systems and learnings, any current challenges and the company culture which is at the heart of Compliance Council.

From this year, we've incorporated a team building activity every month. The Management is a firm believer in an open communication, and nothing helps cement the work relationships in a fun, sporty and casual environment, like bowling. Rightly so, our activity this month was Bowling at Strike in Chatswood.

Magic Glass Behind The Scenes:

Compliance Council (CC) started working with Magic Glass (MG) 3 years ago, and since then CC is working with MG on a retainer basis.

It is not a client vendor relationship, but partnership. CC are an integral part of MG’s business.

CC takes pride in working with the MG team. John and the team at MG are a fantastic client to work with, and CC thanks them for their continued support, and the very kind testimonial.

While the testimonial video is under edit stage currently (watch this space for the video), we've got some behind the scenes footage for you to enjoy.
