Migration to ISO 45001

Organisations that are certified to AS/NZS 4801 are required to migrate to ISO 45001:2018.
We recommend that our clients start this migration process as soon as possible, to ensure time and cost efficiencies.

This migration requirement means that organisations will need to update their current system to meets the requirement of ISO 45001.

Compliance Council can help you with this migration in 3 simple and easy steps:

1. Gap Analysis

This will give us an understanding of how well your existing management system aligns with the required standard.

2. Integrate

This step gives an opportunity to refine your processes and integrate them with your quality and environment management systems. If you are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 already, it will be a bonus, as the majority of ISO 45001’s requirements follow the same high level structure as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

3. Educate

With the changes that occur as part of implementing ISO 45001, it is a good opportunity for your organisation to educate everyone involved at relevant functions and levels in your organisation from Senior Management to your frontline employees. This revision of the health and safety processes will give employees a better understanding of the requirements.
